"Horse Agility is a great horse sport open to everyone. This course aims to help you develop the skills to complete obstacles in the horse agility monthly competitions or certificate courses. We will be looking at building strong foundations that will enable you and your horse to feel confident in tackling any obstacle in front of you. Learning to navigate obstacles together will enhance the bond between your horse and yourself, while developing the horse’s physical and mental skills, and responsiveness to your cues."
- Claire Perilli, 4 times International Horse Agility Club World Champion

About your instructor.
My name is Claire and I have been involved with horses most of my life. In my youth I rode Prix St George dressage and won the South African Dressage championship at 17 years old. I now live in New Zealand and have a team of miniature horses that take part in a wide variety of activities. I have been competing in Horse Agility since 2016. It is my passion. My Horse Agility journey began when I came across Vanessa Bee’s The Horse Agility Handbook in my local library. Who would have thought back then that I would go on to win On-line World Champion 4 times, in 2019, 2021, 2023 and 2024, Runner Up Liberty World Champion in 2019 and 2024, be the first person in the world to complete all 10 certificate courses, be the first Horse Agility Accredited Trainer in New Zealand, and now Horse Agility’s first Ambassador for this incredible sport.
My Facebook page, IQ Equine, documents life with my horses and my Horse Agility training, with some useful tips and tricks for anyone interested.
