Horse Tricks Titles was created in 2021 as an equine equivalent for trick titles awarded to dogs. When a dog earns a title, they have letters after their name. It is the same for Horse Trick Titles. If your horse's name is Star and she earned a Novice Trick Horse title, her name would look like this - Star, NTH .

Performer Trick Titles

• Live Performer Trick Horse (LPTH) - Demonstrate 15 well-executed tricks in a continuous video with no edits.
• Star Performer Trick Horse (SPTH) - 10 tricks in a narrative skit. An edited or non-edited video that tells a story like Mr. Ed, Lassie, or Fury. Try to keep the video under 5 minutes.
• Dance Performer Trick Horse (DPTH) - Dance with your horse! This would be like an on-the-ground freestyle where you and your horse move at liberty together. Use things like hand signals, matching steps, and mirroring. The music should be playing while you are dancing vs. adding it later. The video should be between one and two minutes. Make sure the music you use is allowed on Facebook and YouTube.
  
  

This program intends to inspire people to discover what their horses are capable of learning, have fun with their horses outside of riding, and increase their bond, connection, and partnership.

Reward-based training (+R) is encouraged. Sticks and whips or other physical coercion are not allowed.
